Death of a loved one is the worst thing that can happen to anyone. It is synonymous with devastation. No matter what the caused is you will never be ready for it. Two years later I'm not ready for it. The pain and grief seems to deepen as the day moves on. It cripples me inside and making me feel as if part of me has died inside too. Tried to feel better, survive the day of life but when the night breaks and I'm alone in the room, again the loneliness and bleakness of what lies ahead seem to overwhelm me. 
Sometimes I feel that this pain will never leave me at all. Sometimes I feel that this nightmare of pain and grief will never end. It's the second year death anniversary of our beloved mother and yet everything seems unreal.
Somehow I feel relieved that I have survived a year without having my mom around but it doesn't make anything any better. Another year without you mom is very painful it will continue to linger in my life as I will never forget you for the rest of my life.
I try not to fear nor mourn nor worry because I know that you left us but you are still with us. You may not be manifest in body but your spirit lives on within us, besides us, and always. Remembering you loved us and hates to see us cry. I do not falter in life because I know we are not alone.
Death is when you departed from us, sharp pain in my heart, feeling of permanent sadness remains in me. There is no doubt you had gone away as I have yet to learn the lesson why I still need you around me. We all need you…Death is the day your life ended, you have given up the fight and now it is our time to face it. 
I'm one fortunate individual to have you as my love, my life, my best friend, and most importantly my mother. I now know you are happy and that pain and misery has ended for you. HAPPY SECOND YEAR DEATH ANNIVERSARY

There is never a day I don’t miss your good sense of humor, beautiful smile and warm heart. Also, I miss your calling my name and ask me to hug and kiss you. 
Each day just before leaving work, I always wait for your call and you asking me what time I will be coming home. Once I hear your voice I forget everything that I need to do. I’m rushing to get home so I can be with you to watch, and take care of you. You are my inspiration and energy. Without you I feel wick and lonely. 
There are times I want to call your name out loud and say how much I love and miss you. Keng keng you have no idea how much I need you. As day go by, I feel more empty and full of heart ache. Without you, the house is empty like a vacuum with air floating around.

Lola Chichang.. as far as i could remember, i think i only really got to know you when you came here in the Philippines to attend my Dad and Mom's silver wedding anniversary.. I'm glad i was able to.. thank you for sending me through Lola Peach bits and pieces of stuff.. they mean a lot even if it's just a pen or stationary.. the important thing is it's violet! You and i have the same favorite color! I am just so amazed that even if you already have so many apos.. you still manage to remember my favorite color! That in itself touches my heart!

In behalf of the Zaragoza - del Rosario  Family (Teresa+ and Antonio+), I would like to express my most sincere condolences for the death of  Tita Chichang.  

Tita Chichang  lived a  full life and we will always remember  the happy times we had with her.  She will be missed  greatly  but  now she is  at peace with the Lord  and  enjoying  eternal bliss  together  with the other Zaragoza sisters.

Dearest Tita Chichang,

Memories of you as a loving mother has always been one of the traits I have admired in you...way back when Mike and I were just newly married and the Sundays you regularly come by our place to visit us then in Santol...and you were with Pinky, or sometimes Ginny Girl...and Tito Carling too...and you would go out as a family to Luneta in Tito Carling's car with Tita Piching.  You made it a point to really hold Sunday as a family day...so even as you have migrated to the U.S....the few times we spent with you, you managed to have kept the family intact and maintained Sundays as a family day....unless everyone's got their own respective activities to attend to. You have always been so thoughtful of us...your family in the Philippines and despite our distance through the years, you have consistently remembered special occasions like birthdays or Christmas to greet us or send us a gift or so. And the many times you sent me Novena Prayers  stampitas, and rosaries.....In retrospect, I have had the honor and the pleasure of knowing you and the sharing of the stories of your life as you were raising your children, and to which, I shared mine with you as you & my mother had a similar case or had the same predicament then. 

You have always been down to earth and more sensitive to the feelings of other people.  In silence all these years I have admired you as you have always shown warmth and acceptance of who I am...even as an in-law.  And for this, let me take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to you and to God, for allowing me to have met a great woman, I shall fondly remember as TITA CHICHANG!

Mom is been gone a few days and our home is full of emptiness. Mommy I miss and love you so much. Without you I will never be the same. My heart is into pieces like a puzzle and I'm trying very hard to put it back together. 
I know that someday we shall meet again. Help and guide me in every path I take, never leave me alone... Love forever...Like we promise each other...My love for you is eternal...

Tita Chichang as we fondly call her is the eldest sister of my Dad... She always remember us here in the Philippines and never fail to call us every now and then. My mom is all praises for her kindness and bravery in making her family whole. Though i was with her when i was young, all those good memories are treasured. To my Tita Conchita whom I fondly called Mommy Conchita, thank you for all the love, the advices, thoughtful gifts and blessings you have bestowed on me and my family, most especially my Daddy and Mama.  They have passed on before you but they took with them their love and treasured memories of you.  I shall never forget your kindness, your courage and bravery in holding your family together despite all circumstances.  Though my tears of sorrow continue to well up my eyes, I will let you go and meet the special people who have gone before you.  God has blessed you with your love for us all.
