Earl Edward Clark, 83, of Carson, California, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 4:17 a.m. Mr. Clark retired as Chief Petty Office in the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He was born November 10, 1929, in McLeansboro, IL to Millard and Aline Clark. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, whom he married September 10, 1950; three children, son, Michael (wife Ann) Clark; daughters, Patricia (husband Steven) Clark, and Susan (partner Susan McKaig) Clark; seven grandchildren, Angela, Scott, Kristopher, Alain, Krystine, Megan, and Matthew; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and sister, Wilma Kanik. Earl was proceeded in death by his parents; sisters, Rose Clark and Joan Carter; and brother, Harold Clark. Per his request, a private burial was held, with a memorial service scheduled for January 12, 2013.
