Edna Mae Hall was born in Richmond, Virginia on July 26, 1931 to Simeon and Naomi Green. At the age of seventeen, Edna was called to the ministry, and during the early 1950s, she and her sisters formed the Green Sisters Trio and traveled extensively throughout the country. During this period of travel, Edna met Winston Hall, Sr., and they were married on June 25, 1955.
Edna demonstrated absolute love for her Savior by serving others as children and youth leader, choir member, missionary president, Sunday School teacher, pastoral advisor, evangelist, deaconess, minister to those in rest homes and homeless missions, to name a few. She led others to Christ, helping to mentor many, encouraging and touching countless lives.
Edna lived life to the fullest. She passionately loved her family and enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing tennis, biking, singing and praying with them. A woman of faith, she challenged others to believe the impossible. She will always be remembered for believing that “…surely, God is able.â€
