Embrador, Elena Copias, a 24 year resident of Hawthorne, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2008 in Inglewood. Born in San Jose- Antique, Philippines, Elena was 81 when she died. Elena was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved to play slot machines in Vegas and collected Barbie Dolls. Elena spent her time gardening (especially orchids) and was a fan of TFC/all soap operas.
She is survived by her 12 children, Thelma Embrador Palmiano, Cresencia Embrador Manjares, Eliseo C. Embrador, Alberto C. Embrador, Luisita C. Embrador, Gonzalo C. Embrador, Susan Embrador Sunga, Josephine Embrador Paz, Rogelio C. Embrador, Elisea Embrador Salac, Ramil C. Embrador and Gerardo Embrador, 25 grandchildren, 9 great-grandkids, daughter-in-laws and son-in-laws. Preceded in death by Father, Custodio Copias and Mother, Francesca Copias. A gathering of family & friends will be held at Rice Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a service at 7:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Embrador family.
