It is with a broken heart to say my husband, Gary Richard Rowe, passed away on Sunday November 1, 2020 at home. Married 39 years, we loved taking short trips together that he called “our little getaways”.
Born in Paterson New Jersey, in his earlier years, he was avid archer and entered many tournaments. He liked bowling and also played baseball. He was a Marine during the Vietnam War and was proud of his country. Gary visited every state as a cross country tractor trailer driver.
Gary has lived his life to the fullest. He loved to play golf with his sons and friends. He was a Pop Warner and West High School Football Coach for many years. He enjoyed watching Westerns with his daughter and Star Trek with his wife Mary.
He leaves behind his loving wife Mary, four adult children and 11 grandchildren. He loved having family around all the time and spending time with his grandkids. He enjoyed watching them grow up, they meant everything to him.
He will be greatly missed by all – Son Gary James Rowe and grandchildren Gary James Rowe Jr., Katelyn Rowe and Brady Rowe of Santa Clarita, California; daughter Maribeth Schultz, son-in-law Alex Schultz and grandchildren Chase Schultz, Makayla Schultz, Skyler Schultz and Gabriella Schultz of Torrance, California; son Christopher M. Rowe, daughter-in-law Jessica and grandchildren Daniella Aldi and Dominic Rowe of Sparta, New Jersey; son Bryan Rowe, daughter-in-law Natalia and grandchildren Kole Rowe and Hunter Rowe of Lakewood, California and sisters Karen Hopper of Milton, Delaware and Penny Parker of Gloversville, New York.
