Grant passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025. His wife Marcy was at his side. He suffered from Alzheimers Disease for many years. It was a long decline. Grant was born and raised in Elkhart, Indiana. He married early in life and he had four children. He pursued his education at Purdue University until he received his PHD. He moved to California to start his career at Rocketdyne Corp in Canoga Park and then on to TRW/Northrop Grumman in Manhattan Beach. He had a wonderful career and loved working in the aerospace field. He had great memories of all the hard work and successes he had. He also taught at UC Northridge for a time. He worked with boys interested in soapbox cars. He helped them build and race them. He actually had a Champion in Akron. Ohio and several others who did very well. He was so happy to do that. After retirement Grant and Marcy travelled the world. He was always excited to see and learn something new. Grant is survived by his wife, his four children Vicky, Kimberly, Tamara and David, eleven grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews and his very dear friends. We all miss him so much. He was the nicest man in the world. Memorial at a later time.
