
Henry, Helen Florence a 50-year resident of Torrance, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2005 in Torrance. Born Helen Florence Forman of Troy, NY, in 1925, she was 80. Helen was an active member of several organizations within the city of Torrance – The Cultural Arts Center Foundation, Historical Society, Sister City, Rose Float Association, Friends of Madrona Marsh and many more. She was a founding member of the Torrance League of Women Voters, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter # 380 and Community Concert Association.
She is survived by Daughter, Adriene Henry of Torrance, CA, Brother and Sister in Law, Earl and Jean Forman of Torrance, CA, Brother and Sister in Law, Arthur and Barbara Forman of NY & FL, Brother-in-law, Ray Tilley of Troy, NY. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Her family also includes Monique Jansen Dufais, her husband Peter Dufais and Pim Jansen, former foreign exchange students from the Netherlands (and the Jansen family). Preceded in death by Husband, Frederick D. Henry, Father, Edwin Forman, Mother, Myrtle Forman and Sister, Shirley Tilley.
The memorial service will be held at Rice Mortuary Chapel on Saturday January 7, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with a reception following from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Burial will take place at a later date at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside.
