Roosen, Humphrey Robert, a 50 year resident of the South Bay, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2008 in Inglewood. Born in Indonesia on December 13, 1947, Humphrey was 60 when he died. Humphrey had served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He also loved his annual hunting trips with friend of 45 years, Ted Holloway and enjoyed his fly fishing trips.
He is survived by his daughter, Tina Roosen of Anaheim Hills, CA; nieces April Pimentel and Abbie Alvarado; nephew Nicholas Roosen; and grandnephews Frankie Alvarado, Jr., Marcell Alvarado, Anthony Zamorano, Timothee Rodriguez, Montgomery Rodriguez, and Destiny Pimentel of Los Angeles, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johannes and Ruth Roosen.
The Memorial Service will be held at McCormick Mortuary in Inglewood on Tuesday November 25, 2008 at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to daughter, Tina Roosen (269 N Paseo Rio Blanco, Anaheim, CA 92807).
