Jackie was born March 28, 1982 in Los Angeles, California to Ana Sofia Rubio and the late Tom Luis Cisneros. A loving and nurturing mother, Jackie dedicated her life to raising her children. While growing up Jackie attended grade school in Bogota, Colombia and soon after transferred to the Wiseburn School District and subsequently graduated from West Torrance High School. During high school, she excelled at varsity soccer and loved participating in school talent shows. As a young mother, she attended Bryman College and went on to become a nursing assistant. Jackie became a licensed daycare provider and served her community for over 10 years. She had an ambitious spirit and went on to trademark Ms. Boss Lady and was very passionate about her creative work.
Jackie’s deepest pride and greatest joy was her cherished family. She is survived by her adoring children: Leilani Sofia Hirahara, Kekoa Alvaro Hirahara, Kamalu Ivan Hirahara, and Kekaiu’ilani Mae Mae Tulia Hirahara. She is also survived by her loving grandmother, Ana Tulia Marroquin, mother, Ana Sofia Rubio, her sisters Carolina Salazar Muñiz and Jenny Vanessa Diaz. Her memories will forever be cherished by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Tom Cisneros and her grandfather, Alvaro Rubio.
Jackie always loved to dance. At family parties she was often the center of the dance circle. She could make new friends anywhere she went. She had a big heart and was kind to others. She would make jokes and be silly, always bringing joy to everyone around her. Jackie was a loving and family-oriented woman. The community that her kids played sports in recognized her as a pillar that never missed an event. She was a dedicated mother and always made sure her kids had everything they needed. She would decorate for every holiday, cook special meals, and really loved making memories with her kids. Jackie loved all animals and was genuinely kindhearted. Even the family Bluenose Pitbull, King, deeply misses her. Her passion for live music and appreciation of art will live on through her loving friends and reggae community. We are honored and blessed to have had this treasured time with her. She will be remembered by her contagious laugh, infectious smile, incredible sense of humor and unconditional loving spirit that will live in our hearts forever. Words cannot express how much Jackie will be missed. We ask that you keep memories of Jackie alive and continue to share stories about who Jackie was and how much she meant to you in your life. We will forever love and cherish her memory.
