Brown, James E., a 55 year resident of Carson, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at home. He was born in Arkansas on September 2, 1918. James had served in the Army during World War II. He was an avid bowler up until he was 90 years old. He is survived by Sons, Alan Brown and Larry Brown; Daughters, Diane Wolfe and Linda Bennett . Also survived by 9 Grancchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. A gathering of family & friends will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M. at Rice Mortuary in Torrance.
