Jay passed away on October 18, 2005 from diabetic complications. Born in Mobile, Alabama, Jay will be missed by daughter Anjeanette "A.J." Morgan, siblings: Margaret, Palma, James Jr., Rosemarie, Kathleen, Michael and Patrick as well as many relatives, friends and co-workers.
Jay graduated from West High school in 1965, received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1969 where he proudly served two tours of duty in The Vietnam War. He graduated El Camino College and worked at Ball Corp. for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents James Sr. and Ann Morgan in 2002. Memorial services will be held on Torrance Beach below the parking lot of Miramar Park at 201 Paseo Del La Playa in Torrance at 12 Noon. A party in his honor will be held at 5021 Cathann St., Torrance, CA 90503 at 2:00 P.M.
