16 year resident of Palos Verdes Estates, passed away January 5, 2006. Born Julia Ann Cammarata on August 5, 1954 in San Jose, California.
Sh is survived by her son, Jonathan Strauss, ex-husband Lou Strauss, beloved mother Ruth Contreras, brother Charles Cammarata, sisters Aurora Coffey and Patricia Flores, also two nephews and four nieces.
She is also survived by her beloved fiancee Richard Schexndyder. Julia was a devoted mother, accomplished ballerina and a friend to everyone she touched. A memorial service will be held on January 16, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Lawrence Martyr Catholic Church, 1900 South Prospect Ave., Redondo Beach, with a reception to follow.
