Kalina Alexandra Sword, born on October 16th, 2003, a gift from God to her Daddy Tod and Mommy Kristina, returned to Heaven on Saturday July 19th, 2003. In nine miraculous months our Princess, our Bulgarian ''Wild Rose'' touched many lives as people near and far prayed for Baby Kalina. Kalina showed us the true meaning of love, endurance and faith. Although she struggled daily with her frail body, her joyful spirit and laughing smiles blessed us all.
We are thankful to our family, church, friends, doctors, nurses, technicians and countless strangers who joined our family and enriched Kalina's life. We hope Kalina blessed your lives as well, bringing you closer to God, loved ones and the important things in life. Kalina taught us how precious life is and it should be measured by the depth of love given and received by as many people as possible, every day.
We enjoyed every moment of Kalina's life. Every smile, every kick, every loving grasp from her tiny hands, every kiss, every walk, every time we could hold her, every time she was awake, every sparkling look of her eyes, every time she rested peacefully, every moment so very precious. We prayed every day for God to heal her completely and bring her home soon. God brought her home where she is healed completely.
We cherish the nine beautiful months of Kalina's life. We cherish the lives of those she changed. We will remember always how deeply she loved us. Mommy & Daddy too will love our precious Kalina Bambina, our Piccolo Angelina, forever. We miss her so much and our hearts ache for the lost joy of watching her life blossom. So we will carry her spirit in our hearts and long to be reunited in Heaven.
Kalina is survived by her Mom and Dad, Grandparents Sword, Grandparents Hadjikostovi, Grandparents Poag, Aunt Alexis and Vanessa, Uncle Konstantine, Great Grandmother Smith and her Cedars Sinai Hospital family.
Goodnight ''Boobadoo''. Daddy Loves You.
