Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML).
Kenny was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 1, 1971 to Marjorie Lyn Morris & Kenneth Devereaux Kellman [Khalid Tariq - deceased]. His formative years were spent first in Silver Spring, Maryland then Orlando, Florida. In Florida Kenny had his first encounter with Christianity and his faith and belief have never wavered. Of his illness, he often said, "No matter what; I'm healed in the Lord." He was also a serious performer in Orlando.
Kenny served his country in the United States Marine Corps in Desert Storm and was honorably discharged in 1993 - a Lance Corporal.
Even as a toddler, Kenny loved to entertain; with a spoon as his 'mic', he would belt out a song or commercial with equal gusto or dance to anything that had rhythm, including the vacuum-cleaner. In school, he was a regular participant in school plays and an active tenor in the Chevy Chase Elementary School Chorus - a professional choir.
Kenny moved to Los Angeles in January 2004, where he continued his quest of becoming a serious actor. He became [Screen Actors' Guild] S.A.G. eligible soon after his arrival in the area and played many parts, including several depicting soldiers in combat. He also danced professionally with local agencies. Throughout his life, his faith in God's awesome power, belief in his talent and the unquestionable advent of his chance to break into the film industry never faltered.
The 'call' came ten hours after his demise.
He was thirty-five years old.
Kenny is survived by his mother, Lyn, brother, Chris and nephews, John, Michael and Justin. He will also be missed by a multitude of friends.
