

Bro. Leealfred Woodard was born July 25, 1923 in Sunflower County, Mississippi, to Mrs. Eliza Henrietta Coffee and Mr. Willie George Woodard. On March 15, 2016, God, our Father, called him home. Lee, as he was affectionately known, was preceded in death by his parents, his brother John, his sister Beverly, son Jerome, and daughter Kim.
Lee was inducted into the Military on January 26, 1943 and served for 2 years. He was honorably discharged December 12, 1945. He received the EAMETO Medal, Good Conduct Medal, WWII Victory Medal, and the Bronze Indian Arrowhead Medals when discharged.
In an early marriage, two children were born: Alfred Jerome Woodard and Arnita Woodard.
On November 12, 1975, he married Earline Williams and to this union, three children were born: Jacques Woodard, Brian Keith Woodard, and Kimberly Ann Woodard. A special son, Darrion Woodard, was adopted later after they had cared and fell in love with him.
In late life, he was added to the body of Christ at Tipton St. Church of Christ in Kosciusko, Mississippi. He was a faithful member there until he moved home to Carson, California. The members at Tipton St. missed him very much and asked about him often.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory: His wife, Earline Woodard; daughter, Arnita Woodard Riley; sons, Jacques (Mona) Woodard, Brian (Dionna) Woodard, and Darrion Woodard; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nephews; nieces; cousins; and friends. Special friends: Leroy Watson and Eric Vincent Dawkins.
