Cook, Mabel Wray a 60 year resident of Lawndale, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2006 in Torrance. Born in New Mexico, Mabel was 89 when she died. Mabel was a member of St. Catherine Laboure and she is survived by her son, Frank Arrieta, daughter, Sherry Arrieta, Step Brothers, Billy, Eddie & Percy Davis, 8 grandchildren & 11 great grandchildren. A gathering of family & friends will be Thursday, November 30, 2006, 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. both at White & Day Colonial Mortuary in Redondo Beach. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, December 1, 2006, 10:00 A.M. at St. Catherine Laboure Church in Torrance. Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City.
