Margaret Tayeko Hashimoto, 59, passed away unexpectedly on February 25, 2016, at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. She was born on October 25, 1956 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She graduated from McKinley High School and Kapiolani Community College. She worked at Prince Kuhio Hotel, Wardair, and American Airlines in Honolulu. In 1989, she moved to San Francisco to work for Delta Airlines and later transferred to Los Angeles where she retired as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed traveling with her mom and companion of 28 years, going out shopping for deals, staying home watching her favorite TV shows, "Long Island Medium", "The Little Couple", and "Ghost Adventures", preparing healthy meals, and adoring her two little dogs, Rocky and Sparky. Margaret is survived by her companion Jeffery Desamito, brother Alvin Hashimoto, Sister Nancy Hirano, a niece, a nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Private services will be held in Hawaii at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Nuuanu Memorial Park.
