Marvin C. Merrill peacefully passed in his sleep February 7, 2017. Born June 29, 1917 in Jefferson South Dakota, he moved and was a resident of Rancho Palos Verdes for 55 years. He was married to Cinderella (Marcella Geraldine who passed away on December 13, 2012) and together led a full life traveling, playing bridge, golfing and enjoying friends and family. Marv worked in the Airline Industry for 40 years and was President of the Airline Dispatchers Association, a member of the Peninsula Seniors, Los Verdes Men's Club, Red Baron's and Delta Pioneers.
He is survived by sons Gary of Colorado and Michael (Judi) of Long Beach; three grandchildren Nolan (Phany), Cole (Joelle) and Maggie (Matt) and three great grandchildren.
Services will be Friday February 17th at St. John Fisher in Rancho Palos Verdes at 11:00 a.m.
