Kitty entered life on April 6, 1918 in Watkinsville, Georgia. Jesus took her home on April 4, 2013. Remaining and always remembering are her two sons, Ron (Sharri) and Tim (Ellen); six grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Kitty always had a smile on her face and love in her heart. She made friends easily and always lit up any room she entered. Kitty was "Rosie the Riveter" at North American Aviation during the war and after, retiring from North American Rockwell. She loved to bowl, rolling an all spare game in her eighties. That is why her sons did not bowl, they could not beat Mom. To Kitty the glass was never half full or half empty, it was always overflowing. She had strong faith, attending the Church of Christ for the majority of her life. She told her sons not to grieve for her because she had a wonderful life. Kitty was preceded in death by her two husbands, Homer "Jack" McPherson and Orville York, along with many of her lifelong friends and loved ones. Heaven is smiling today. A celebration of life will be held on April 13, 2013 at Halverson, Stone & Myers Mortuary at 11:00 a.m. with viewing from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
