Michael J. Nutile

NUTILE, MICHAEL JAMES passed away on Wednesday, October 1st, 2003 in Santa Maria, CA. Michael was born in Hawthorne, CA on March 18th, 1966. He attended Alta Vista and St. James Elementary Schools and graduated from Bishop Montgomery High School, class of 1984. He also attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and has been attending the University of West Los Angeles School of Law. Michael was an avid journalist, bicyclist and drummer. Survivors include his loving parents, Vincent and Sandra, his brothers and sisters; Jacqueline Nutile Carroll and Vincent Joseph, Susan, Timothy, Christine and Linda Nutile. Also left to mourn his passing are his nieces Julianne, Emily and Jessica Carroll; his nephew, Jeremiah Carroll; and niece, Priscilla Nutile. Emily Carroll and Priscilla Nutile were also his godchildren. A rosary has been scheduled at 7:00 PM, Friday, October 10th, 2003, at RICE MORTUARY, 5310 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, CA, 90503. Michael's life will be celebrated at a memorial service on Saturday, October 11th, 2003 at 3:00 PM also at RICE MORTUARY CHAPEL. A reception will follow at the O'Gorman Center, 4625 Garnet Street (at Anza Avenue) in Torrance. Also, a memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Josephite Fathers Novitiate,180 Patterson Road, Santa Maria, CA 93455 at 9:30 AM on Saturday, October 18th, 2003, reception immediately following at the Novitiate.
