Nancy Williams

God is good. All the time. Words we truly believe even through this time of grief. Our mom, Nancy, was a beautiful person, wonderful wife, and unparalleled mom (in our opinion). She was a woman of God which exuded throughout her life. I say this because her faith did not falter during her battle with cancer. She was diagnosed around June of 2018 and immediately started treatment options with dad (Alfred) by her side. Earlier this year, her daughters found out by ways only God can provide and we have been honored to support and love on her as best we could. God’s mercy provided us with the rare opportunity to maximize the time we had left with her. It was a difficult journey, but LOVE truly drives out fear. During the last weeks, we found that cancer had spread throughout her body and the decline was faster than we thought it would be. Thankfully, she and our dad were able to celebrate their 48th Anniversary on September 25th (see? God is good). Not long after, she passed to be with our Savior on October 5th 2019.

We are truly thankful for the support of friends and family. Your prayers and words are sharing in our sadness and keeping us strong as we continue our process of grieving. Thank you for sharing your stories and experiences about mom. We have enjoyed reading all the posts, texts, cards, and e-mails. Though we are having a private family service, we invite you to join us as we continue celebrating the legacy of our mom on Sunday, October 20th.
