Patricia Ann Gerend

Born on March 8, 1933 in Santa Monica, California, the daughter of Anna and Richard Hayes, will forever live in her family's hearts. Patricia retired from Northrop after a 20 year career and then enjoyed her active retirement years volunteering for local senior citizen organizations and community centers. She loved entertaining, spending time with her friends and family and going on casino bus trips. Patricia's bright presence could light up any room and she always knew how to make people laugh.

She is survived by her three daughters: Gayle Hepperle, Gwen Gonzalez, and Cheryl Adler and seven grandchildren: Shelley Alvarez, Scott Hall, Brandon Hepperle, Matt Adler, Erica Hepperle, Aaron Gonzalez, and Lindsay Adler. Patricia was also blessed with three great grandchildren: Mikayla Alvarez, Madison Alvarez, and Kylie Hall. She will be deeply missed by all.

The viewing will take place Monday, January 20, 2014 at 6:00 pm at Rice Mortuary in Torrance. A memorial mass will be held at St. James Parish on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 10:00 am.
