Patrick John Calderon

PATRICK JOHN CALDERON, of Manhattan Beach passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2003 in Manhattan Beach, CA. He was born in Los Angeles April 23, 1925 and lived in Santa Barbara until he returned home from the Army at age 20 after receiving a Purple Heart during combat in Italy during WWII. He resided in Manhattan Beach for over 58 years. Patrick had worked at Hughes Aircraft for over 30 years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly Calderon of Manhattan Beach; sons Dale Calderon, Steve Calderon and Mike Calderon; daughters Kathy Calderon and Penny Calderon; grandchildren Paige Baker-Martinez; Patrick Calderon, Dawn Calderon, Brandon Thompson and Amanda Sutter; Shelby Calderon, Cole Calderon, Sean Calderon and Catherine Lim; Aaron Bates, Kristi Bates and Autumn Bates; and Derrick Calderon; along with brothers Michael ''Buddy'' Calderon and Charles Calderon; sister Barbara Calderon-Cota. Also left to mourn his passing are his niece Kelly Gay-Bates and nephew George Collins. Celebration of Memorial Mass will be Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at 10:00 AM at American Martyrs Catholic Church, 624 15th St., Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. Private cremation and inurnment.
