Paul Fabian Fink of Torrance, California passed away peacefully at his home on September 16th 2015. He was born on October 8th 1922 to Paul and Gertrude Fink in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He and his siblings attended St. Mary's Catholic school in Cheyenne. When his mother passed away in 1935, the family moved to Los Angeles, California. He attended Inglewood High School, and graduated in the Class of 1940. Paul enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and served in the 34th Photo Recon Squadron. His good buddy in Inglewood just happened to have a darling relative in Nashville, Tennessee named Bonnie Jewel Byars. Paul made the trip to Nashville with his buddy, Melvin, and was smitten with Bonnie Jewel. They married on November 6th 1949. In 1953 they bought a new home in Torrance on the GI Bill, where he resided until his death. Paul and Bonnie Jewel were active members of St. Catherine Laboure Church, sending all seven children through the Catholic School and Bishop Montgomery High School. Paul was an electrician and worked for North American Aviation and Rockwell until his retirement at the age of 72 in 1994. After retiring Paul and Jewel loved to travel across the states, especially back to Wyoming and Tennessee. Paul and Jewel's home was always the scene of family gatherings, children and grandchildren always popping in for advice, and a meal any time of the day! Paul was blessed with a quick wit and a loving and caring nature. Preceded in death by parents, Paul and Gertrude Fink; his sisters Margaret, Catherine and Camille; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Bonnie Jewel; his three sons: Paul Jr (w. Deana), Jeffrey and Gregory; his four daughters, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild: Jacqueline Justice (Matthew and Kevin), Jennifer Di Ciolli (h. Thomas, Melissa, Kimberly, Sean and great granddaughter Hayley), Rebecca Laszacs (h. Michael, Andrew, Amanda, Alex), Katrina Webb (h. Charles, Jacob, Joshua, Kaitlyn). We love you Papa Paul.
