Paul was born in San Bernardino in May 1935. It was during his college years when he returned to San Bernardino for summer break, that he met the love of his life, Agnes. Paul graduated from Santa Clara University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1956.
In 1957, Paul and Agnes were married. Shortly after their wedding, Paul began his career with Westinghouse Electric Company in Sunnyvale, CA where he retired (the first time) in 1994. In 1997, he was hired by Northrup Grumman and retired (the second time) in July 2001. After the second retirement, he became a consulting engineer until his last retirement. Paul earned two additional degrees from Santa Clara University during his career, an MBA, and an MS in Mechanical Engineering. Paul was kind, patient, and was described by a colleague as one who could "stay calm in the midst of proposal panic". Paul was a highly respected engineer.
Paul is survived by his wife of 66 years, Agnes, and his four children; Susan Krug, Nancy Taylor (John), Lisa Cendejas (Fernando), and Karl Krug (Patricia). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Philip, Matthew, Andrew, Stephanie, Julie, Alyssa, Nicholas, and Matias; three great-grandsons (Owen, Vannoy, and Drew) and one great-granddaughter, Camila.
Paul will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. We will miss his laughter and his wonderful sense of humor.
Arrangements are being conducted by Lighthouse Memorial & Receptions - Rice Center in Torrance, California.
