There are no words to describe the void and pain of losing you Mom.   Mom is now with God, and giving pleasure and laughter in Heaven, just as she did on earth.  We will miss Mom's wonderful infectious laughter, her smile, her kindness, and the love she so freely gave to all her family and friends.  We have so many wonderful and treasured memories from you Mom, which we will never forget and always with love of you. You brought us joy and happiness everyday of our lives, and for that you will be in our hearts forever.  You were the light of mine and Betty's life. I had the pleasure of meeting Pauline during christmas and found her to be a warm and loving person. All my prayers to the whole family.

My Nana My Grandma....I will miss you!  you will always be in my heart. You always told me to look at the beauty in everything and to live life to its fullest, no matter what you encounter in life, and to always stay close to family.    I remember when my Nana would cook me her famous spaghetti and sausage, her basil leaves at birthdays or holidays, but most importantly was the undying love that she gave me. Manigini family,   There are never words that seem to be all inclusive at a time like this but my thoughts and prayers are with you.  I never had the opportunity to meet the fantastic Mrs. Manigni but I know the type of woman she was.  It was all passed on to her family.  Her kindness, caring attributes, gentleness, lovingness, love of life, and humor have touched me through her son Joe.  The stories I've heard about her made me feel like I knew her.    Joe I know that things will be hard for you without her but I know she lives in your heart becuase it was apparent the first day I met you.  I know she is very proud of what you do to keep family a top priority.  Without family and love there really isnt more to life. Dearest Cousins,    My heart is with you at this time of great loss.  There are not enough words to tell you how sorry I am.   Aunt Pauline will certainly be missed.  She was our Matriarch, and the person who held us all close together.   I am forever touched by her gracious ways.  Her contagious laugh and her positive outlook on everything.   There wasn't anything I couldn't talk to her about and she never had a bad word to say about anyone.   She loved you boys unconditionally and always spoke with love about everyone.   Here is a story about her I would like to share with you all.   A bit of time after Uncle Wede passed I decided I needed to hear Aunt Pauline laugh so I took her to The Comedy of Magic Club in Hermosa Beach.      She was reluctant to go at first but once she was in the car she became more her usual self.     As luck would have it we got front row seats and that night a famous comedian came in to practice his stand up in front of a live audience.     When he came out from back stage he walked straight up to Aunt Pauline and without missing a beat says to her " Mrs. Bush, thank you for coming to see me tonight, I had no idea you would be here."  That was Robin Williams.     Aunt Pauline laughed so hard I thought she would cry.  Robin Williams picked on her the rest of the night and I thought we would  never stop laughing.    I will always be grateful for knowing and loving such a wondrous spirit.     I will miss you Aunt Pauline but I won't ever forget how you made me laugh,cry and become a better woman for knowing you.   My love is always with you   Your Niece   Sharon Reed

I moved to Southern California in 1984 and treasured meeting the relatives I really never knew.  Pauline and Joe lived close to each other and I was able to regularly visit them.  Although I moved to Northern California in 1987, Pauline and I continued to exchange letters throughout the years.  She was a tremendous person, with positive comments and outlook no matter what the news in the letter.  She will be greatly missed.

Mom,   It was a great blessing knowing you most of my childhood and adult life.  You were the nice lady down the street and later you became my loving mother-in-law.  There are so many precious memories that I treasure. You taught me how to cook as a young bride of 19 years old.Your example inspired me to raise good children and value the family.  You taught me how to freely give to others from the heart.  We kept in touch throughout the years and that meant the world to me. June and I and family were your neighbors on 119th Street in Hawthorne.  We had the best of friendship from the day we met until God met you in Heaven.  June preceded you 7 months ago prior to your passing, and I believe there will be reunions among the most faithful Catholics who were the best of friends. Therefore, you two should be seeing each other.  I am 83 and in July will be 84 if I should live that long.  From this day forward I look forward to being with June, Patty, you and all my family in one of the greatest reunions we ever had.  I love you Pauline and may God shed his peace on you in Heaven. To all of you who knew this wonderful & beautiful woman we called "Mom" or "Pauline"..."our loss is your your loss" but she is now a gain for God !! Although I only met you one time, I knew you through your son, Ron.  Ron loved you dearly.  You raised a wonderful man.  I still have the Bay Leafs sent from your back yard.  May you rest in peace.

I will never forget Pauline's lovely smile and the love that radiated from your heart and soul! It was a pleasure and a great blessing to have known such a beautiful lady.  Hopefully when my passing comes, the gates to Heaven won't be locked or too closely watched.  To fill the warmth of your smile and for all of us(Patty, Mom, Betty and Dominic and all the loved ones whose souls have departed) to visit and laugh will be an eternal joy!      I will always remember the days of kwowing you and your family as good friends and neighbors when we all lived on 119th Street in Hawthorne.  And later in life, you became family when we all lived within a few blocks of each other in Gardena.  Pauline you were truly a beatiful and loving person who will be missed!

Although we never had the privilege of meeting this wonderful lady, we know Ron and Karin.  She looks life she had a fantastic life and raised a terrific family, Char and I would have enjoyed meeting her.  It is truly inspiring that she was loved by so many people and I know that Haven is much brighter with her star now lite up.  Our sincere condolences  go out to the entire Mangini family for their loss.

Pauline Mangini was a wonderful grandmother to Nick, Tony, Christopher, Mario and myself. We all called her Nana. She would cook, clean, and do anything for us as long as she could see us. She loved being around family and Friends and valued every second of it. I remember when Mario and I would visit and she would always make one of our favorite meals, ( chicken soup and stuff cabbage). That was just one of the most kind hearted gifts a grandmother would do for her grandchildren. I have so many nice memories of Nana and I that will always stay in my heart. In conclusion I would like to say this to Nana. ( hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, )To you Nana, I love you with all my heart. Your my Nana, an inspiration and now an angel that stands next to me.
