
Groux, Rhea M., a 55 year resident in the South Bay, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2009 in Lawndale, California. Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, Rhea was 88 when she died. Rhea was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hermosa Beach.
Rhea is survived by her daughters and their husbands: Theresa and Harry Dalbey of Conover, NC, Susan and Ed Frazer of Aurora, IL and Constance and Paul Miller of Redondo Beach, CA; her sisters Theresa Franck of Redondo Beach, CA and Priscilla Guy of Kittery, ME. She has seven grandchildren: Darryl Cunningham, Cheryl Brinn, Richard Frazer, Robert Frazer, Renee Newton, Eric Miller and Jason Miller. She also has nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Robert Martel, her brothers, Robert and Lionel, and her husband of 67 years, Robert (Bob).
Rhea was a woman with a big heart and loved her family dearly. She was a very good mother, godmother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her daughters, grand and great-grand kids meant the world to her. She looked forward to whenever they would come and visit. She will be missed deeply and will forever be in our hearts. Rhea and her family would like to thank the people of AmeriCare Assisted Living for their devotion to her over the past two years. Their caring and passionate support was extremely appreciated.
The Memorial Service will be held at Rice Mortuary Chapel in Torrance on Wednesday December 30, 2009 at 2pm. Rhea's ashes will be scattered at sea to be forever united with her husband, Bob.
