Aunt Mary & Family,      I will miss Uncle Bob so much. We had so many laughs from the emails we shared. He was such a wonderful man and am very glad to have been a part of his life and the family. My condolences to you Aunt Mary and the family. With all my love, your niece, Tatiana Love.

To the Donaldson Family:  We were so sorry to hear about Bob's illness and passing.  We pray for peace and comfort for you at this time. (Hebrews 13:5) From Eugenia:  My memory of Bob was when Blake and Asher attended baseball camp a few summers ago.  To see Bob's eyes light up at the sight of his grandson was such a blessing !! I have many wonderful memories of Dr. Donaldson....Kings games, Chi Chi's restaurant for pizza before Kings games, little league baseball, him always calling me "Big Dave", his home being my second home for so many years, hanging out with he and Mrs. Donaldson and their two sons - my best friends from childhood - Doug and Dan.      I can remember my dad bringing me over to the house a couple of times when I was sick and getting a shot from Dr. Donaldson in the living room!      He was a very nice, genuine, funny and humble man. I consider myself lucky to have grown up in a neighborhood like Avenue F - with such a close knit group of neighbors. Dr. Donaldson was a big part of my childhood.      I am going to try to get down to the service on Wednesday morning. My best to Mrs. Donaldson and my friends Doug and Dan.      Dave

I'm Gigi's eldest daughter.  I remember you visited with us while we were teens in Visalia.   I'm sad for Uncle Bob's passing.  I remember him as a wonderful compassionate man. I was so sorry to hear that Dr. Donaldson passed away. I have only the fondest memories of him and the whole Avenue "F" family of neighbors. A special hello to Mrs. Donaldson and my old buddies "Dougie" and "Danny". (There is some dispute between my brother David and I regarding the spelling of "Dougie". My apologies if I am mistaken. We'd  like to share our condolences to the Donaldson family.  Dr. Bob was a friend of my parents and mine.  Some of my fondest memories  were as a kid, him either sticthing my forehead in his family room and taking me  on family camping trips with his two sons Dan and Doug.  Our prayers are with you all of you.

Mrs. Donaldson & Family:   My deepest sympathy to you and your family.   Doc gave me the most comprehensive physical prior to becoming a corporate pilot at N.A.A. Enjoyed the many times when he was on board.

I remember Dr. Donaldson always being there to help me whenever I got sick -- even when I didn't  want him to be! For the longest time when I was little I thought he was this big mean guy who would always give me a shot or make me take yucky medicine. I would always run and hide if I even thought he was around!  But then I grew older and as I did, my intimidation turned to respect and admiration. And gratitude to have known this wonderful neighbor, healer, husband to Mrs. D, father to Doug and Dan, and grandfather to their children. This last role is the one I remember the best, many times I would see him out with one of the kids, taking  a walk, playing ball or working in the yard together. Yes, he will be missed greatly by all those whose lives he touched, and yes, he will be remembered so much as well. "Thank you" isn't adequate enogh to express the appreciation we have for the countless times he helped our whole family, especially my father, throughout his many reoccurring illnesses. Our hearts and our prayers  go out to  your family in this very difficult time. Please don't hesitate to call if there is anything at all we can do to help in any way. I have always had warm thoughts for both Mary and Bob. We were in Little League together as we had boys the same age.  I hope it helps to know that so many people care.            God bless you Mary, Dan @ Doug.             Val

We at Cardiac Rehab wanted send our deepest condolences to you.  We will truly miss Bob and his humor.  He always had funny jokes to tell us.  What he liked talking about the most is his grandchildren.  We loved hearing stories about them.  His latest comment was "The Skye is beautiful".  We loved him and we hope you find some peace with all the memories of him.  We were honored to be apart of his life.  I will always think of him when my children are laughing.  He once told me that was the best sound to hear; children laughing.

Bob was John Hedley's big brother since Bob's mother took care of John when he was born.  I share your sorrow but then life has to go on for us living.  Mary, you have a beautiful family who will be there for you at all times.  I am here for you always.      Virginia Gigi (Hedley) Swezey
