October 16, 1942 - November 17, 2006
A lifelong resident of the South Bay, passed away at his home peacefully with his family by his side, after a 2 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Eileen and 7 children: Robert Jr., Alex, Margaret, Elizabeth, and Joseph Silva. He was also a loving Grandpa "Abuelo" to 3 grandchildren: Elizabeth Michelle, Samantha, and Leslie Marie. He was also loved by many family, friends, and co-workers. His hobbies included flying model planes, and a love of classic cars.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 from 5-9pm with a Rosary at 7pm, at Rice Mortuary in Torrance. The Service will be held on Friday, November 24, 2006 at 10:30am at St. James Catholic Church in Redondo Beach, followed by Burial at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
