She was born June 1, 1949 in Baltimore, MD where she lived until joining United Airlines as a flight attendant in 1969. She was a highly regarded member of the United family for many years. She also was a realtor with Sotheby’s (formerly Shorewood) serving clients with great diligence. Sharon spent many hours with veterans, sending care packages and overseeing ceremonies honoring them. She was a loving, kind and generous soul who went out of her way to also help so many others.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Louise Mason. She is survived by her siblings Peggy, Bob, Michelle, Patricia and Bryan and their families who cherished her. She is also survived by a huge group of friends whose friendships she treasured and who treasured her in return. She will leave a hole in so many lives.
Services to be held in Baltimore, Maryland where the majority of her family still reside. Date TBD. Donations in her honor can be made to the American Cancer Society.
