Stephen D. Luther

LUTHER, D.D.S., STEPHEN D. , A fifth generation native Californian, passed away December 8, 2001 at home. Dr. Luther was born in Los Angeles, CA on November 29, 1947. In addition to his 27 years of serving the dental needs of our community, he also was a past president of the Torrance Rotary and the JC's. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-one years Sandra Luther of Palos Verdes, CA, Father, Marvin Luther, Mother, Winona Luther, both of Redondo Beach, CA. Daughter, Stephanie(Mrs.Scott) Chaney of Palos Verdes, CA, Daughter, Samantha Luther of Palos Verdes, CA, Sister, Christine (Mrs. David) Larson of Torrance, CA, Brother, Jeffery (Nicole) Luther, M.D. of Palos Verdes, CA and Brother, Paul (Karen)Luther, M.D. of Aptos, CA and many nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn his passing are: Uncles, A.F. Wendorff, D.D.S. and family and T.K. Wendorff, D.D.S.and family. Dr. Luther is also survived by his Grandmother, Eloise Dikis of Manhattan Beach, CA . He will also be greatly missed by his loving parents by marriage, Mr. & Mrs. R.H. Kanner. Memorial services will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church , 26231 Silver Spur Road, Rancho Palos Verdes on Dec.13, 2001 at 4:30 P M. Private inurnment. En lieu of flowers friends are invited to donate in Dr. Luther's memory to The American Cancer Society, Attn. Colon Cancer Research.
