Steven Roman Forray

Steven was a kind, fun and adventurous man with a generous spirit who loved his family and always gave his time to his friends. He was a kind-hearted person always there to laugh, be available and to listen when needed.

Steven passed away May 11, 2024 at the age of 48 following a short illness. He was born in Hawthorne, California to Lila and Frank Forray. As a fun-loving child, he shared many adventures with his older brother, Frank, by traveling and playing sports together. Steven grew up in Torrance and attended Bishop Montgomery High School where he played football, baseball and soccer and made many lifelong friendships. He went on to attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo earning his business degree.

After working in industry, he ventured out as an entrepreneur to start and run his own business which supported the entertainment industry for over 25 years. He was an avid sportsman who loved surfing and hockey. It wasn’t just about the game, it was about the teammates and the sport.

Steven is survived by his parents, Frank and Lila, his older brother Frank, his two nephews and many cousins. He is loved and tremendously missed. His kindness and laughter will continue to live on.

A mass of christian burial for Steven will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Catherine Laboure Church, 3846 Redondo Beach Blvd, Torrance, CA 90504. Following the mass of christian burial will be a graveside from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at Pacific Crest Cemetery, 2701 182nd St, Redondo Beach, CA 90278.
