Born in Los Angeles, October 11, 1921, Tom passed away on June 13, 2005. He attended St. John's Military Academy, Loyola High and Santa Clara University. After serving in the Army Air Corps in WWII, Tom graduated from Loyola University.
He is survived by his sister Cecile Illig, and his five children: Tom McGarry Jr. (Carol), Rev. Michael McGarry, Dan McGarry (Stacy), Mary Walters (John), and Patrick McGarry; and eight grand-children: Michele, Rob (Erin), Molly Rose, Brett, Scott, Casey Thomas, also Michaela and Rebecca Walters.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, June 18, 2005, 12:00p.m. at American Martyrs Catholic Church, Manhattan Beach; Internment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
