He was born September 27, 1961 in Laural, Mississippi. The son of Ruby Nell Durr-Griffith and Timothy Erect Griffith Sr. Timothy graduated George Washington High School in San Francisco, CA. He later graduated from Reno Junior College, earning a degree in welding.
Timothy found Christ at an early age while attending St. Michael Catholic Church in San Francisco.
Timothy leaves to cherish many loving memories his mother; Ruby Nell Durr-Griffith, father; Timothy Erect Griffith Sr., one brother; Alfred Earl Griffith Sr., two sisters; Mary Alice Griffith-Hardy of Oakland, CA and Lisa Thurnell Griffith of Los Angeles, CA., three nephews; Alfred Earl Griffith Jr., Bryon D. Griffith and Steven Erick Harvey, all of Oakland, California. Three nieces; Ashley Nicole Hopkins of Oakland, Bianca Griffith-Rashid of Chicago, Illinois and Misa Simone Meadowers of Los Angeles CA. Two very close friends; Don Freelin and David Stevens, both of San Francisco along with a host of family and friends.
