

Praglowski, Virginia, 83, was born April 1, 1928 and passed on September 11, 2011. She was a 63 year resident of Torrance, CA. Although she never lived outside of Southern California, Virginia was an avid world traveler. Her other loves were cooking Mexican food and line dancing. She was a member and two term president of the Gardena VFW Post 3261. She retired from Harbor UCLA Medical Center with 36 years of service. Above all, Virginia’s deepest passion was her family. Virginia is survived by her four loving children; daughter, Katherine Wagner of Carson; daughter, Esther Sorensen (Larry) of Harbor City; son, Michael Camou (Dixie) of Paso Robles, CA; son, Arthur Camou of Torrance; seven grandchildren, Jason, Michael B., Michael Jr., Anthony, Matthew, Joshua, and Samuel; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Richard Praglowski, and her oldest grandson, Christopher Rivera. The viewing will be held at Halverson, Stone & Myers Mortuary on Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Nativity Catholic Church on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a burial service at Green Hills Memorial Park.
