Yolonda A. Jones

Jones, Yolonda A., a 40 year resident of Southern California, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2007 in Fullerton. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Yolonda was 60 when she died. Yolonda was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church. She was a very honest and loving person that always placed others concerns before her own even when she was suffering and in pain. The world lost another truly good hearted person. She is missed tremendously by those who knew her, but her loving spirit will live with us forever.

She is survived by her Husband, John Jones of Rowland Heights, CA; Daughter, Elizabeth Perea of Albuquerque, NM; Son, Jim Jones of Rowland Heights, CA; Son, Thomas Jones of Rowland Heights, CA; Sister, Yvonne (Glen) Galyon of El Cajon, CA; Brother, Michael (Becky) Proo of Torrance, CA; 3 Grandchildren, and 2 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Alyce Proo; Father, Bert Proo; and Son, Rodney Jones.

A gathering of family & friends will be held at White & Day Mortuary in Manhattan Beach on Thursday March 8, 2007 from 5 to 7pm, with a Rosary Service beginning at 7pm. The Service will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Torrance on Friday at 11am. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City.
