Lorraine Sue Dreves

Lorraine Sue Dreves, age 80 of Traverse City, passed away on June 7, 2016. She was the loving wife of 59 years to Carl. Cherished mother of Greg (Ella), Ann (the late Rob) VanDyke, Douglas, Bruce (Allys) Lorie Robb, Sally Dreves and John (Heather). Dear grandmother of Jennifer (Brent), Brian, David (Emily), Jeff (Lauren), Scott, Paul, Lamar, Lena Lila, Lavern, LuAnne, Lanita, Grant, Jack, McKenzie and McKayla. Great grandmother of 3 plus one on the way. Sister of Elizabeth (Jerry) Urban, Bernard (Carol) Harvey, Edward (Sandy) Harvey and the late David (Judy) Harvey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lorraine retired after 40 years as a registered nurse, being one of the very first emergency room nurses at Munson. She also ran a cherry and livestock farm with her husband, all while raising her family. Lorraine also treasured the times she shared with her grandchildren. A celebration of Lorraine's life will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016; 11:00 a.m. at Sojourn Church in Traverse City.
