Marc Edward Chiappini

Marc Edward Chiappini, age 35 of Traverse City, passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2016. He was the loving father of Anthony and Austin. Beloved son of Ann Marie Chiappini and Larry (Sheri) Chiappini. Cherished brother of Crista Ligon, Gina Anderson, Angela (Brandon) Zagunis, all of Traverse City, and Michael Chiappini and Annmarie (Brian) Chiappini Rowe of Massachusetts. Grandson of Wilma Mary Szok and the late Michael Szok and Albert and Edna Chiappini. Mother of his children, Mindy Mccutcheon. Uncle to Tyler, Keegan, Bella, Roman, Brittany, Kelsey, Paige, Alexa and many nieces and nephews in Massachusetts. He was loved by many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Marc was also preceded in death by his Brother Larry “Bubby” Chiappini; Sister Josephine “Phinie” Chiappini, Uncles; Arthur and Nalo Chiappini and Aunt; Laurie Chiappini. Marc was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hiking with his children and nieces and nephews. He was employed by Roese Contracting as an equipment operator. Marc was loved by many and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. at Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to Marc’s children at Traverse City State Bank or Grand Traverse Mental Health are greatly appreciated.
