Timothy C. Tompkins

Timothy earned his Master’s Degree and worked for over 21 years at Elk Rapids Engineering. He was a faithful member of Compassionate Friends, loved playing the bass guitar and making people laugh. He was a friend to all and loved his animals. His grandchildren were his world.

Timothy is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Patti (Smith) Tompkins; he was her best friend and rock. He is also survived by his children Jessica Tompkins, Lindsey (Matthew) Hale, grandchildren Elijah and Isaac Berg, Pearl and Erinn Hale, mother Paloma Tompkins, eight siblings, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Erinn Tompkins, and father George Tompkins.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday December 28, 2013 at 12pm, with visitation one hour prior, at Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City.
