Beth Lester Haynes, 91, of Lilburn, Ga., passed away Sept. 20, 2015. She was the widow of W.A. Bill Haynes of Atlanta and Winterville. Her parents were Robert M. Lester and Annabelle Owen Lester of Macon. Her grandparents were Rawson Walker Lester of Jones Co., and Lula W. Bivens Lester of Baldwin Co.; and John Daniel Owen of Lamar Co., and Caroline E. Hightower Owen of Monroe Co.
She was previously a member of Oak Grove Methodist and at the time of her death a member of Harmony Grove Methodist. She especially loved her friends in the Joy Club and for years delivered meals on wheels. She was a loving, giving, and godly woman. We will truly miss our “Bambi”.
She is survived by her daughter Ann Parker and husband Bill, her son Ted Haynes and wife Gloria; grandchildren Christ Kasha and husband Terry, Matt Kent and wife Emily, Scott Kent and wife Denise, Mickey Haynes and wife Tiffany, David Haynes and wife Jennifer, Brad Elliott and wife Angie; 17 great grandchildren and four nieces.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at Floral Hills in Tucker, at 2 pm. The funeral service will be at 3 pm in the chapel with internment following in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
