Oh sweet Cecelia.. I’m so sad to read of your passing .. but happy to know that you are on the other side and laughing and smiling with your Mom and Bob.  I’ll never forget your smiling eyes and the sound of your laughter.  Such a lady you always have been.. so thoughtful and giving.   I guess God needed another Angel.

Cecelia, or "Ms.CC" as my daughter affectionately called her," has been our neighbor for 18 years.  We were just speaking with her about the fact that it has been 10 years since her husband Bob had passed and how much we still miss him to this day.  

We grieved for his loss and then we grieved the loss of Cecelia's cousin Lynn who moved in after Bob was gone.  Both ladies were like grandmothers to my daughter as they would always babysit on a moment's notice and always remembered her on her birthday or at the holidays.  We have been blessed to have known them.  

Such a special family and so dear to our hearts, we never expected CC would be gone from our lives so soon. She was an anchor to our neighborhood. She was strong and independent and would tell us to be the same even as we face her loss.  

She is missed every day and will live forever in our hearts in Tucker, GA.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Cecelia.  We worked together for several years at IBM.  Since retirement, we found each other on FACEBOOK. We had planned on meeting for lunch one day, but we never finalized the date, now it's too late.  You have my deepest sympathy.

Thank you for so graciously accepting me into the Family . We were complete stranger when we first met when you and your darling mother came to our wedding 55 years ago this June 16th .You and your mother and Babe were an inspiration to a young girl. I will keep you in my memories . C

I was both shocked and saddened to learn of Cecelia's passing.  Cecelia and I grew up in the Grant Park section of Atlanta in the 40's through the 60's.  We were high school classmates when high school was so much fun. Cecelia was kind, generous and such a lady.  We reconnected nine years ago and stayed in contact on Facebook. It was always a pleasure to see the pics of the grandchildren (Wyatt and Gracie); Cecelia loved and adored them both. Cecelia left us too soon; I know she will be greatly missed by those who knew her. My sincere sympathy to the family--Edward "Buck" Knight

My Dear Cecelia. You were such a huge presence in my life growing up. I will forever cherish our friendship. You were a 2nd Mom to me. I have so many wonderful memories of you. There are things that I think of that instantly remind me of you. Estee Lauder make up, Coca Cola Chicken and Turtle cake (both that you taught me how to make), how to beautifully wrap a gift (that you taught me as well), your candy jar right next to the refrigerator and Coke. I will always see you sitting in your chair watching the Braves. You were such a big fan. Those are just a few things that make me think of you. I will never forget you, Cecelia. I hope you knew how special you were to me and how very much I loved you. I think you did. You always treated me like your daughter and I will always keep you close in my heart. Rest in Peace, sweet Cecelia. I know you are home with Bob and your mother now. I love you forever.
