She was born in Covington, GA the daughter of the late Henry L. and Eula Eva Kitchens Henderson.
She worked for Rich's as a sales clerk.
Mrs. Jones was a member of Tucker First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Dewey Jones.
Survivors include her children, Judith (Don) Vestrand of Hoschton, GA, Phyllis (Billy) Roberts of Shelby, AL, and A. Dale (Toni) Jones of Brandon, MS; her sister, Jane Joyner of McDonough, GA; her brothers, Rev. H.T. Henderson of Bremen and Tommy Henderson of Carrollton; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 20 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Owen Skinner officiating. Interment will follow in Bay Creek Cemetery, Loganville, GA. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm at the funeral home.
