Bob was born on February 10, 1951 in Rome, GA.
Bob is survived by his sister, Karen Henderson Holmes and husband, Charles M. Holmes. Nieces - Lauren Holmes Willis (spouse Christopher), and Allison Holmes Hoffman (spouse Seth), Grandnieces Hazel and Lydia Willis and Grandnephew Reid Willis.
Graduated from Druid Hills High School and attended DeKalb Junior College. Member of Scott Blvd. Baptist Church.
Although Bob struggled with mental illness for over forty years, music remained a constant in his life. He was a passionate drummer and especially enjoyed music from the 1960s. His favorite past time was listening to music.
For the last three years Bob was lovingly cared for by the staff at Easy Living Personal Care Home in Toccoa, GA. He made good friends there and received the companionship he needed. He thought of the staff and the other residents as his extended family.
