I’m sorry to hear that he passed so many years ago and I’m just finding out. He was a really great friend. I remember working at Reds body shop with him and hitchhiking to California with him!! I remember him well. So sorry he’s gone

Can't believe more than a year has passed since you've been gone. I was in Tucker last Sunday and visited your resting place and just cried and cried ~ not for you  of course, 'cause I know you're fine and in a better place ~ but selfishly for me, for all of us who knew you, that we're without your presence. Not only were you the world's best neighbor, but a dear friend as well - to so many... How I wished you and my dad could come visit my new place, and could I ever use your help here!  :)  
   I truly miss you Charles, and will ALWAYS remember and miss you.

I miss my uncle Charles very much for he was the best uncle anyone could ever ask for. Alway going the extra mile to help anyone and would give the shirt off his back to some who needed it. I really miss talking mechanics with him and sharing ideas with him but I know he is with The Lord and without pain. Rest in peace uncle Charles for you will always be in our hearts and looking over us from heaven.

I want to thank everyone for the kind words and prayers for my dad. He was the best dad anyone could ask for, but he was also my best friend. I miss him so much. It's comforting knowing that so many people knew what a great man he was. I'm a lucky guy to have had him as my daddy for 45 years. This is not the end of my dads life, it's now just  beginning. And I will see him again. Love you daddy.

It was an honor to be associated with Charles. I enjoyed & admired his stories. He shared his love for the Lord and I know he is with the Lord now.

Jimmy and I will miss you, not just today,  or tomarrow, but for the rest of our days. Over the years you were more than just a friend you were "Uncle Hutch" we wont forget your warm heart,  your smile , and all the help and support you gave to us in so many ways. You were truly an angel. We pray for your family that their greif will pass and their cherished memories of time spent with you will fill there hearts.

Although I am saddened with the loss of my uncle, I find comfort in knowing I have someone watching over me from heaven.

My heart is broken knowing you are no longer with us, but knowing that you are in heaven with Our Lord is comforting!  Thank you so much for all the morals, values, stories and memories. I made the promise to you that you didn't have to worry about Chuck anymore; I would be there for him and take care of him like he took care of you, and I stand behind my word.  We love you so much and will miss you forever!

Uncle Charles,
Noone could ask for a more caring uncle than you. You were always there for me when I needed you. You walked me down the aisle when I got married. You were more of a father to us. Never to judge anyone. Now you have your wings to look over everyone that is missing you. One day we all will be together again in the holy land so for now enjoy being with the family that you went to be with and keep a watch out for the ones that has not yet earned those wings. You are missed and loved by many. I'll see you when I get my wings. I love you Uncle Charles..

Charles, I thank God for the blessing He gave me when I moved next door to you. You were the best neighbor anyone could ever ask for, and you became a dear, dear friend as well. It was so tough when you moved, and now I've moved too.... I'll cherish the memories of our days at Smokecreek.  I'm privileged to have known you and I will miss you all of my days.
