She was born in Atlanta, the daughter of the late Wallace and Jessie Foster.
Survivors include her husband, Bill W. Fernander of Chamblee; her daughters and sons-in-law, Allison (David) Worley of Madison, AL, and Melanie (Rev. James) Barnes of Suwannee; her sons and daughter-in-law, Steve Fernander of Chamblee, and Neil (Brenda) Fernander of Greenville, GA; her brother, Wallace D. Foster of College Park; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Rev. James Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday March 7, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
