God Speed Robbie, your rememberd in Dawson Ridge

It's amazing how many things we take for granted. We make plans for the day and don't realize how those plans for the day and don't realize how those plans can be taken away in the blink of an eye.I never really thought about it much, until I was faced with the undeniable truth of my uncles death.
I was in the orchestra room at my school , Friday afternoon excited for the day i was going to spend with my cousin. While i was interrupted from a text message. I and my friend were joking around and in a silly mood. Suddenly the conversation stopped. The world around me froze. Warm tears began to fall from my eyes. I immediately asked for permission to go to the restroom. I sat in the restroom. I was all alone. The words hes dead began to pierced my heart like daggers of ice. I started to cry uncontrollably. The realization that i would never see Robbie again struck me.
I come from a loving family of aunts, uncles, grandparents, and cousins. I never thought a time like this would ever come. As, i was sitting alone I thought back to all the times me and Robbie spent together. I had just seen him the other day. Me, and my family all ate dinner my grandmother's house. We never really spent that much time together. He was a busy person; he had so many things he wanted to accomplish. I am so honored that I had the chance of some what getting to know him. He spent his whole life becoming the amazing person that he was. He lived with intension every day.
Your life can change drastically at any moment. Don't take life, or the people you love for granted. You only live once, so make the best of it. Losing Robbie last weekend taught me that living everyday intentionally and purposefully is what i intend to strive for. I am sorry that i had to loose him to realize that.

Many years have passed but I will never forget Robbie.  May the love of God envelop your family.  May every day bring you a memory of his love.

My dearest friends, there are no words I can say to ease your pain but I do know that God, in his infinite mercy, will give you the strength to get through this tragedy.  There are things in this life that we just don't have the answers to but feeling the love of friends and family will help ease the pain just a little.  Everyone that knew Robbie was aware of his love for his family!  Just let me know what I can do for you besides pray.  Love ya, Vicky

You were always someone I looked up to who knew what the meaning of work and dedication was. There was never a day you didn't give your all to provide for those you loved. When times got hard it was your face I pictured telling me to suck it up and get going. I will always remember you that way Robbie. God blessed us with you in our lives and I am better for it. Now you can rest and we will see you on the other side. Much love and prayer to you and your family.

Praying for the Lohry family, I know times are tough and everyone is hurting, God does heal it may take some time to get to a point where your ok and you will feel Robbie everywhere..Take in the memories and hold them tight with every tear there will be a smile..and always know one day you will be together.
