at her daughter’s home in Commerce, Ga

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, four brothers, husband O. A. Hunter, Jr. and son Lonnie Hunter.

She is survived by daughter, Elizabeth (Charles) Gailey, of Commerce, GA, daughter-in-law, Karen Hunter of Oxford, GA. Grandchildren Lonnie (Alison) Hunter, Brian (Krista) Hunter, Laura Hunter, Michele(Bill) Svoboda, Angela Gailey (Niall O’Conner). Great-grandchildren Tiffany (Levi) Bula, Stephanie Gailey, Casey (Whitney) Lewis, Natalie, Kate and Brent Hunter, Amanda (Brett) Roberson.

Great-great-grandchildren Luke and Maelyn Roberson, Ryleigh Lewis and Seth Bula. Also survives are sisters-in-law Lillian Hunter of Carnesville, GA and Geraldine Wilbanks of Perry Hill, MD, and many nieces and nephews.

Jeannette retired from Emory University Clinic as switchboard supervisor, she enjoyed work, church, life as a wife and Mother, and a favorite Aunt to many, but her greatest passion was her Grandchildren, great-Grandchildren, and great-great- Grandchildren.

Services will be Friday, May 10, 2019, 3:00, in the afternoon with visiting one hour prior to service.
