She was born in Decatur, the daughter of the late Edward Roy and Mary Barfield Goodson.
Mrs. Griffith was a homemaker and a member of Tucker First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Griffith, Jr.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Robert A. Griffith, III; her sister, Edna Sharp; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on from 12:30 until service time on Wednesday.
