Janice Laverne Lee, 71, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2011, after a valiant battle with cancer for over 2 years. Janice was born on July 27, 1940 in Atlanta to J.B. and Jessie Kennedy. She was the youngest of 13 children. Mrs. Lee was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was very active in her grandchildren’s lives. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, David Lewis Lee of Tucker, sons David Byron Lee and wife Kitty of Tucker, Stanley Lewis Lee of Tucker and Mark Allen Lee and wife Lori of Buford, brother Paul Terry Kennedy and wife Mary of Austell and grandchildren Sami Lee, Josh Lee, Chelsea Lee and Courtney Lee. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm on Monday, December 19, 2011, at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 19, 2011, in the Floral Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
