MADDOX, John John Floyd Maddox, 91 of Decatur entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Mr. Maddox retired from the Ford Motor Company and was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 yrs., Carrie Mae Maddox; his daughter Stella O' Bryant; and his son, James Maddox. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Gayle Maddox of Lawrenceville and Robert L. and Judy Maddox of Monroe; his sister, Elizabeth Maurer; his brother, Horace Maddox; his sister-in-law, Rebecca Maddox; his 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
